My DD is 11 and she still loves her Bitty. We have both historical and JLY dolls. Bitty can't stand, but she sits nicely on a bed or in a chair. She is so sweet and has the cutest clothes. Since she is not as expensive as the other dolls, I would say get her. She is just a charming little doll. Here you can see Bitty in her Valentine's outfit at a party with her big sisters.
